| TFI AND THE QUEST FOR GREENER SKIES AT INCHEON |

When Incheon International Airport Corporation recently launched its “Incheon Airport, Green Cargo Hub” project; a plan to make our skies greener with lightweight ULDs, TFI's TUFFlights took center stage with luminaries from the major Korean Airlines.
Incheon International Airport Corporation is doing its part to promote a greener planet with an initiative that splits the cost of lightweight composite ULDs with Asiana Airlines, Korean Air and UPS. The project has begun with 80 units that will be flying the green “Incheon Airport, Green Cargo Hub,” logo, showing the world the commitment the airport and the airlines have to reducing CO2 emissions through lighter air-cargo containers.

Taiwan Fylin Industrial was proud to see its TUFFlights displayed prominently at the opening ceremony of the project as all the press and industry spectators looked on with great interest.
According to e-Cargonews Asia, a composite container like the TUFFlight cuts around 40% off the weight of the first generation steel containers of yesteryear. This cut translates into a reduction of around 4,536 kilograms of CO2 emissions and a saving of 1,803 liters of fuel per container per year!1
And when this weight savings is coupled with unbeatable toughness, and a panel rigidity that completely overcomes the sagging and bulging of many other composites on the market, the TUFFlight glistens on the podium with a confidence that shouts, “Hurrah to TUFFlight and its role in a Greener future!”

Taiwan Fylin Industrial, Asia’s leading Unit-Load-Device (ULD) company, launched their latest product, a lightweight fiberglass container, at the April Airport Expo 08 in Las Vegas.
With airlines trying to find new, lighter materials to cut fuel costs, this container will no doubt be well received by the industry. It offers a lighter alternative to traditional aluminum containers, and is available at an extremely cost-effective price.
Ms. Shin Liu, Sales Director at Fylin, says that the company is very excited with the launch of the product, called TUFFlight, as it is extremely easy to maintain and has a very short product and part-replacement lead time. She says that the container weighs as little as 63 kg, cutting 13 kg off a traditional aluminum container.
TUFFlight also has an advantage in that it has been designed for rigidity, a feature lacking in other composite ULDs. After the fist demonstration at the show, the new unit received a lot of attention for its rigidity and lightness from the airliners and composite material experts. Ms. Shin Liu disclosed that TFI’s existing customers showed great interest in TUFFlight and are currently engaged in purchasing negotiations.

| TFI's NEW FACILITY OPENS ON ITS 10TH ANNIVERSARY |

In early 2007, TFI settled in to its newly furnish facility located in the Central Taiwan Science Park. The official opening was held on the 5th of February, 2007.
The event was initiated by the god of wealth, and was followed by a welcoming lion dance. The lions led the guests on a tour of the 10,000m2 facility before everyone gathered together on the main shop floor. The nearly 350 guests were amazed by the state-of-the-art facility, and the advanced equipment it accommodates. And the only place in Asia where one will find such advanced machinery tailor-made for ULDs is TFI.

The leading Taiwanese airlines were at the event to show their support. The general manager of China Airlines, Mr. Guo Shuai Zhao said, “In the last few years, TFI has been providing exceptional quality ULDs to the carriers, which has helped China airlines in reducing total costs”.
TFI's ULDs also received excellent feedback from other users at the event. “TFI's on-time delivery eased EVA's cargo operations throughout busy times,” said Mr. Yi Gong Wang, president of Evergreen Aviation Technologies Corp.
According to Airbus, during the period of 2006 to 2025, 31% of the world's airfreight delivery will be to Asia, which will lead to a great demand for ULDs. Mr. Hua Chou Liou, the founder of TFI, suggested that by the end of year, TFI will launch new models of main deck containers and will be able to satisfy all kinds of ULDs to be used on passenger aircraft and cargo freighter.

TFI has relocated to Central Taiwan Science Park and is inviting all ULD industry partners to their new home. The new factory floor space has expanded to 10,000 m2 and accommodates the most advanced equipment, specifically designed for ULD products.
